On Tuesday, I took Lainey to the livestock show. It was her first time in a petting zoo, and at first, she kind of missed the point of it as she was more interested in the mulch. She, however, eventually did look up to notice all of the sheep and goats around her, though most of the animals were snooty like our cat, Disco, and walked away from Lainey when she started to pet them (a.k.a pull their tails). While we were in there, a school group also came through, and for some reason, a few children strayed from the pact to come "pet" Lainey. It was kind of weird. We were sure to drench ourselves in sanitizer after we left. We then headed to take photos on a pony, which Lainey LOVED! She smiled the entire time the photographer was taking the photo and didn't want to get off. I guess we'll have to get her a pony some day . . .
